The Bise is our most popular shade sail.
With its natural and organic feel, the structure blends well into any play area, school or garden setting and complements existing wooden play equipment.
Using a high specification HDPE canopy (sewn with Tenara thread) it blocks up to 98% of harmful UV rays, protecting against skin damage. The shade fabric actively works to lower the temperature, keeping those underneath cooler for longer and is available in a huge range of colours.
The FSC certified glue laminated wooden posts are created using a state of the art manufacturing process that glues together high quality planed sawn redwoods before they are passed through a high frequency hot press. This production process ensures that the posts will not warp, twisting or crack and eliminates any ‘finger traps’ that can typically occur with more traditional wooden posts. In the interest of further safety, a high quality sanded finish combined with chamfered tops is also standard.
Finally the posts sit in a powdercoated steel sockets that isolates them from any moisture from the ground, prolonging their life and ensuring their high strength is maintained for many years.
The Bise also comes with a 10 year guarantee but we recommend the sail is removed over the winter months to both prolong its life and in case of heavy snow.
